"TRI-TO-WIN" / SavageMan Festival

Overview
The “TRI-TO-WIN” SavageMan Triathlon Festival, conducted annually in mid-September in the Appalachian Highlands of western Maryland features a 1.2-mile swim in clear Deep Creek Lake, Maryland’s largest freshwater lake; 55.6-mile bike on the most scenic and most savage Half triathlon bike course in the world; and, 13.1-mile run on the lakeside trails and roads of Deep Creek Lake State Park. The International course is beautiful, challenging, but less savage with a .93-mile swim in the lake, 23-mile bike sharing 14-miles of the renowned Half course, similarly 6.2-miles of the run.
